"I", beats "Me" !

Yesterday I replayed one of my own Trinagon puzzles and beat my old record, set four years ago, by more than half.

A thing I believed to be impossible.
It happened anyway. Like the most natural and easy thing.
And I had not played for at least two years. Not at all.

So how is it that after years of not playing, my mind could find a solution that previously seemed unachievable? Suddenly it just sits there for the taking. Right out of the blue.

That is one of the strangest things about puzzling. You think you have reached the limit. You think the solution is done, because you just cant conceive of how else to do better. Impossible.

Well. wrong. 

The solution now, just like the previous one, seems perfect. Though that may only be the case because I do not know any better yet.

The amount of times this happens may makes you feel rather stupid.. But then who is to say? Unless someone better shows up, you never really know.

So yes, I'd actually love to be beaten. I would genuinely love to see someone get close to this solution or, better yet, beat it.
